The Hotel Y, Yakima

The hotel was a mixed bag with very clean and comfortable rooms but with some maintenance issues like rattling noises from the compressor. My stay at the hotel was a mix of positive and negative aspects. The rooms were spacious and clean, but I did notice a few minor issues like dead bugs and hairs on the sheets and in the bathroom. Despite that, the rooms were quiet and nice overall. The service from the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, especially Beverly at the front desk, who was informative and kind. However, the location felt a bit deserted, especially when I went for a swim, and some areas like the lobby felt small for the capacity. The dining experience was good with great options, but there was a change in breakfast timing that was not ideal. The facilities were decent overall, providing what was needed but nothing extraordinary.

I spent 2 nights in room 236. It was clean and looked new, loved the place; it is quiet and away from the traffic. The room had a strong smell of bleach that seemed to cover up a cigarette smoke smell.
